We had our 38 week appointment today and Gracie sure is growing. Dr. Laughlin thinks she is around 8 pounds already! Nice and healthy, which makes me and Jeff very happy. The Dr was thinking because she has been measuring big she might come early, but it just looks like she is going to be a big healthy girl. I am getting pretty uncomfortable these days, but hanging in there knowing every day she is baking, is another day for her to be as healthy as possible. Thank you all for the love and support you have given, Gracie, Jeff and I over the last 9 months. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such loving family and friends. ♥ Patiently awaiting our little bundle of joy ♥
Dear Gracie....wow you have come so far since that first day daddy and I saw you on the ultrasound screen. You were just the size of a grain of rice but you had already filled our hearts with so much love. Nine months seemed like it would take forever but it has gone by so fast! We have loved watching you grow in mommy’s tummy and passing every mile stone with flying colors. You have filled our lives with so much love and happiness. We love you to the moon and back ♥

Everything is great in the world of Gracie! With each day were getting closer and my heart is growing bigger and bigger! I can’t wait to meet our little girl ♥ Our last check up was at 32 wks and all went well. Gracie is still measuring 2-3 weeks ahead, which is no surprise if you've seen my tummy =) Dr Laughlin said she thinks Gracie will be early but were not going to officially change my due date. Gracie’s new thing is hiccupping, she gets the hiccups at least once a day and I love it! I love feeling her wiggle around in my tummy, and daddy loves it too. Sometimes we just sit on the couch with our hands on my belly and feel her for hours. It never gets old!!

Check-up
August 15th, 2011
Today we had a routine check up with Dr.Laughlin. During these appointments we get to hear Gracie's heart beat and Dr. Laughlin measures my tummy. Today we should be about 26 weeks but when I was measured, I measured a little big =0 so we were sent for an ultrasound to take a peek in on baby. After the ultrasound measurements were taken of Gracie, the tech told us, miss Gracie is measuring 28 weeks not 26! Which would make us due around November 10th instead of November 22nd. I know this little girl has her own agenda and will come whenever she pleases but it's pretty exciting that she might be arriving a little earlier then we thought ♥ Feeling great and enjoying feeling Gracie's kick and sharing that with Jeff. Our little girl has captured our hearts and filled our lives with so much love and excitement!

Today we had our 20 weeks ultrasound although we are actually 22 weeks and 3 days along. The ultrasound was used to measure all of baby’s organs and make sure everything is on track. And Miss Gracie is doing amazing! She weights 1 pound and 3 ounces! She was very active during the ultrasound; her legs were kicking up a storm. Auntie Stef saw that and immediately said, ohh those are dancing legs ♥ It was great to get to share such a fun day with Grandma and Auntie. We are very proud of our little girl, she has grown so much and it’s so fun to see her active in there. Counting down the days until she arrives ♥

5 Months
Miss Gracie, you’re now the size of a carrot and you’re almost a whole pound! And we are half way there! I am starting to feel your little kicks nows and daddy is still patiently waiting to feel them too. I know your growing like crazy and it amazes me to think of all the miles stones you have already surpassed. I send daddy a weekly text of how big you are and your weekly accomplishments, which always makes him proud. The love we share for you is nothing we've ever experienced before. Registering was a fun and stressful time! It was fun to imagine you in all these things we picked for you, your car seat, basinet and little outfits! I love totting you around in my tummy and sharing this amazing experience with your daddy, our family and friends. Next week Grandma Deb and Auntie Stef are coming to see you at your 20 week ultrasound! We can’t wait to take a peek in on you!! ♥ We love you Gracie

Second Trimester
We made it to week 14 and into our second trimester!! And our once little bean is now about the size of a lemon, weights 1.5 ounces and is 3.5 inches long! Our 14 week appointment went great, babys heartbeat was 156. Nice and strong. I cant believe how far we've made it. Time flys by, but goes so slowly all at the same time! I've felt little movements, I call them flutters. What an amazing feeling. I can't wait for baby to get bigger so daddy can feel too! Im feeling great, everyone says I will get my energy back this trimester, but Im still waiting!

Tiny Dancer
We had our second ultrasound today! And were in double digits now, 10 weeks! Baby is about the size of a kumquat, is a little over an inch or so long and weighs in at less than a quarter of an ounce. But has now completed the most critical portion of development! Grandma Cynthia got to join at the ultrasound, which was very exciting for her! Baby was so sweet, waving his/her little hands and dancing up a storm. We could see both hands and feet moving all around. It was so cute. Doctor said, "Wow, that's one happy baby in there". Everything went great, Dr. Laughlin said we're both healthy and right on track. We have out next appointment it 4 weeks. I still feel great, and I think my energy is starting to come back a little =)

Sweet child of mine
Today is 9 wks and 1 day and baby is the size of a grape! I'm very lucky and thankful to report I haven't had any morning sickness. I could sleep all day though! I take at least a nap a day and I'm still in bed by 8:30! Jeff has been such a troopper and lets me get my rest. Trying to work, keep up at the gym, and keep up on house chores has been quiet the challenge. The doctor gave me the okay to workout so when I feel up to it, I still like go to my aerobics classes. No weird cravings yet, but I'm enjoying anything hardy. And let me say this, when I'm hungry, I'M HUNGRY! I could drink a gallon of liquid a day, water, juice, slurpees....anything will do! Jeff has been so helpful around the house and that has been much appreciated! We are looking forward to our 10 wks appointment next week and getting to see the little one!

Its Easter this weekend, me and daddy cant wait for you to be here next Easter so you can enjoy all the family fun with us. You have so many people that already love you!

8 week baby bump
Our first glimpse
We had our first ultrasound appointment with Dr. Laughlin today. We were so excited to see you and hear your little heart beat. The two weeks leading up to the appointment felt like it took forever. But once we saw you, the wait was all worth it. When the ultrasound first appeared on the screen, it looked like there were two of you. Daddy was a little worried, but doctor Laughlin assured us it was just you in there! Your heart beat was the best little sound we've ever heard, for that one minute you were up one the screen is the only time I haven't been worrying about you since the day I knew you were coming.
That was one amazing minute ♥
